Coronavirus is a sobering reminder that this world is broken by sin and death, but even in the midst of this global crisis, we still have hope because Jesus defeated death.
Salvation
Coronavirus may come and go. I don’t know if it is one of the end-time pestilences Jesus warned would come, but I have no reason to believe it isn’t one. We may very well be approaching the birth pains and beginning of sorrows Jesus warned about.
A growing number of fellowships are following the course of this world despite repeated warnings to change direction. This is what happens when the church begins embracing the spirit of the age.
For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
The Bible is full of warnings about the judgement and wrath to come. In God’s patience and mercy….He waits for more people to come to repentance
No…not even a lifetime of volunteering and good deeds will get you to God in heaven. You can’t say enough “Hail Marys” or go to enough confessionals, or spend enough time in purgatory to earn your salvation.
The tide of public opinion is rapidly turning against true Bible believing Christians. It is time for followers of Jesus to get ready for persecution in the West.
Based on the evidence in scripture, I believe the only thing that will matter in 100 years is where we will be and who we will be with. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will be with Him in heaven at the moment you die or are raptured.
The difference with ‘kingdom regifting’ is that we keep the original gift, but this priceless treasure simply and beautifully replicates itself over and over again by God’s grace and mercy.
