Our lives are made up of decades, years, hours, minutes, and seconds, and there are 86,400 seconds in each day. Time is an immeasurably valuable commodity, a finite resource that we can spend, invest in, or waste just like money. We are all given a limited amount of time on earth to live, and then we die. In God’s grace and mercy, He knows when that time is for each person. As the awareness of sin marches on, the seconds of our lives tick away. Every one of those seconds is a step on the road to eternity.

Ingratiating ourselves to the world and being liked by them has become an idol and obsession to the growing apostate church across America and globally.
Because the world is coming unraveled, we could easily slip into despondency If it wasn’t for the promises in God’s word. If you are a Christian, I want to remind you about your bright hope for tomorrow.
The biblical mandate is to go to all nations and make disciples, but too many of our churches and leadership are content with romancing the world.
I want to exhort you to do something in light of this September 2015: Focus on Jesus….not your calendar.
