We do need to understand that when we gather in the body in Christ, this is the Lord’s opportunity to do spiritual business with his people. This, the church, should be a scary yet amazingly exciting place to be. We need to discover perhaps a much higher faith-filled expectation for the gathered body of Christ than perhaps we have at present.
Christian love
Jesus said one of the signs of the end times is the love of many growing cold. We are rapidly approaching a time when brothers and sisters in the Lord will offend, betray, and hate one another. This is a call for true unity and genuine love among believers when love grows cold.
We are the believers who live between His ascension and the rapture. In the purely physical sense……we can’t see Him, we can’t touch Him, and we can’t hear His voice calling to us from the shores of the Galilee like the disciples did. We can’t hold His nail pierced hand as Thomas did. For now, we have to walk by faith and not by sight. We know there is a blessing for all of us who haven’t seen Him…..yet believe.
