While the Islamists envision a world wide kingdom ushered in by Mahdi and empowered by the false god Allah, followers of the one true God know who will rule this earth. Time bears out all truth and the question of who will rule the earth will be answered once and for all: Will there be a Reign of Mahdi or Reign of Jesus?

What do the great actors of film have to do with last days Christianity? Quite a lot because we are living in a day when it’s not easy to differentiate between the true followers of Jesus and those who are simply Christian actors. I don’t know what motivates one to be a pretender instead of the real thing. One thing is certain: Churchianity isn’t Christianity.
Current events seem to be racing toward the last days with domino effect like speed. Many Christians, students of Bible prophecy, and people who want to know what the future holds are asking the same question: What about US ?
There is an exact day, hour, minute, and second when the Lord Jesus will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God to take us home to be with Him. Every opportunity we have to serve and live for Him here will be over. This will be our zero hour.
The reality is that suicide, depression, and mental illness are subjects the church should address. If we truly have a heart for the least of these, then we must be sensitive to every opportunity around us to share the hope and peace that can be found in Jesus.
While followers of Jesus here in the west have enjoyed relative peace and safety from persecution over the years, one must look at the realities of the world today and ask the following question: Would I be able to stand firm for Jesus in the face of persecution?
As they say…..Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it’s decline wasn’t instantaneous either. Depravity is an empire killer. The undermining of a once great people and nation takes place gradually…..almost unnoticed. But God’s people have seen the evidence of America’s decline for sometime now. America’s best days were when we lived life by this simple truth: In God We Trust.
What I find very disturbing, is a trend that has infiltrated the church. This trend started in mainline denominations and has quickly spread to an increasing number of evangelical circles. What is this disturbing trend? It is a movement that sides with Hamas, radical Palestinian groups, and the “peace in our time” crowd while demonizing Israel for defending itself.
A nuclear weapon in the wrong hands, an attack on Israel, or blockading a vital waterway for oil transit is unthinkable….yet quite likely. Any of these events would most certainly trigger a: middle east meltdown.
